ABOUT ROMAUNCE BOOKS

Romaunce (Middle English and the original spelling for ‘romance’) is the home of award-winning romantic fiction. Some modern, some historical, but all entertaining and imaginatively well-written.

Romaunce Books is the Romantic Fiction imprint of a successful independent publishing company based in the UK. Founded by publisher Antonia Tingle, it publishes original romantic fiction, with a focus on commercial, award-winning novels.

The team at Romaunce included a former Head of Publishing at the Daily Telegraph, Rupert Harbour, Harbour Publishing Services who handles all trade distribution and trade sales, and

Chris Newton, Editor in Chief.

In addition to commissioning original romantic fiction we are expanding our list by republishing neglected, classic fiction titles from renowned authors such as the late Angela Lambert, aiming to release around 100 titles a year. (See our submissions page for details on how to submit material to us if you have a manuscript that you think we would be interested in publishing).

Our mission is to illuminate, entertain and enrich the lives of our readers, putting books in their hands in a variety of convenient formats, wherever and whenever they choose, whilst embracing the ongoing technological revolution taking place in the publishing industry today. We focus on getting the most out of each book through attention to detail at every stage of the process, from editing to design and formatting, marketing and publicity and we do this because all of us here at Romaunce books love publishing and want to do our best to achieve outstanding results for authors, agents and our readers.

We have sales and distribution in Europe, North America and Australasia with dedicated sales teams selling our books in over 35 countries.
